Hello All
Have had a bit of a hunt through the forums but to no avail, so can anyone help me please.
I am new to UVS so please forgive my ignorance.
I have been compiling my photo's into a DVD slideshow using video studio 10 tbyb. Great and happy with the relative ease of use.
I have saved the compilation to file, however when I play the file on the computer whenever I get to a photo that has used the pan/zoom function the audio becomes rather juddery and jumpy.
Is there an easy something that I am doing wrong??
The settings are :-
PAL (25 fps)
MPEG files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 25 fps
Lower Field First
(DVD-PAL), 4:3
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8000 kbps)
LPCM Audio, 48000 Hz, Stereo
resampling quality - best
double-pass encoding
I hope someone can help.
Many Thanks
Audio judders when panning/zooming on an image

Welcome to the forums Maju,
The only thing that doesn't look right is the audio format LPCM. Since you are located in a PAL area, you could use MPEG audio Layer-3. LPCM is generally used for NTSC areas.
What's the source of the audio being used? Smartsound or the stock audio clips supplied with VS? While some can use MP3 and have no problems, others have nothing but problems when trying to use MP3. So if you are having problems with MP3s, convert it to WAV before inserting into VS. AUDACITY is a great free audio editor that can convert MP3s..

Thanks vidoman
I compiled the audio in Cubase then imported the file as MP3.
I'll change it to a .wav file and see if that helps
I forgot to mention that when creating the file to save to disc I chose MPEG2 HD 1440*1080 as I want the photo's to be as clear as possible.
Would changing the settings to upper field first or by frame be preferable?
And finally, if I create the file as above (HD) can you tell me if when burnt to dvd-r it would play on a simple stand alone dvd player, as this is the whole point of what i'm trying to do.
Many Thanks
