problems with WinDVR3 and my Hauppuage TV card...

Post by ronsh8 »

Hello,

I have tried to run my TV card (Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150) with the software InterVideo WinDVR 3.

For some reason every time I run the software - there is no video or audio signal. I have checked the settings and everything seems good.

I have tried to reinstall drivers and it doesn't help.

what should I do?

p.s the software ChrisTV does work and i can see TV- so it's not driver problem

Use WinTV2000 to record and then import it.

I have problems with WinTV2000 to...
It worked fine until some day that it stopped working...
there is a screen with the logo of Hauppuage...
I have tried to configure it to composite and it still didn't help...

I prefer the WinDVR3 software...
I don't like WinTV2000 because of the delay between the TV signal to the program...

Dumbest suggestion ever

Post by CHAWS »

Telling us to use WINTV2000 is absolutely the dumbest idea ever. We purchased a product that is supposed to capture video.... well, it doesn't work. It worked in version 2.5, but now it doesn't work in 3.0. Please stop telling people that WINTV2000 is the solution.

Instead, communicate with your internal development team and tell them of the bug in their product. They should fix it.

Firstly, If you have a Hauppauge Tv card then the native software specifically created for use with that card is WinTV2000. Other software is "General purpose" designed to work with a wide range of non specific hardware.
