Load mpeg vio driver error ..........ELEAD DVD/5.0/DVDMF.ini

Try the following in this order.

1. Run the installation program again and select the repair option.
2. Try a clean re-installation
3. View this link Load MPEG Vio Error
4. Troubleshooting your computer

This Fix worked for me with DVDMF 3

Had exactly problem as described.

to fix it do the following:
Open c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead Movie Factory/3.0/DVDMF.ini

it was

[VIODRIVER]
UleadAC3Encode=0
DecodeAC3=0
PlayAC3=0
[VIOMAN_OpenOpt]
AutoPlay=0
Mute=0

so i saw somewhere else that adding the following code so now reads

[VIODRIVER]
UleadAC3Encode=0
DecodeAC3=0
PlayAC3=0
[VIOMAN_OpenOpt]
AutoPlay=0
Mute=0

[MPEGVIO]
SupportSwitch=1
mpegdll0=uvMPEG2.dll
mpegdll1=uvMPEGWO.dll
MPEGActiveDriverNum=1
MPEGActiveDriverName=Ulead MPEG vio Driver,

save it and try running DVDMF again

This fixed the problem for me.

Considering the number of times people have requested a solution to this problem only to be given incorrect advice must be frustrating...it was for me.

I don't have version 3, I have 2, 4, 5 & 6. so cannot double check the ini file for version 3. However - Rudi Schmahlfeldt is using version 5 and so your fix appears irrelevant to his problem.

Steve's remark is extremely important:

Do not use those settings in the MF5! You might disable Dolby audio in MF5 using that [VIODRIVER] section. (And my DMF3 also had all AC3 values all set to 1, not 0... I kept a copy of it for reference)
The DVDMF.ini file in MF5 also has other and many more entries in those sections than just those shown. For example, MF5 uses mpegdll0=uvHTMPEG2.dll in the MPEGVIO section. and uvMPEGWO.dll does not exist.
