Chroma Key problem with black
My chroma key video is great EXCEPT the black suit I've got on has serious transparency. Is there something I'm missing? I'm using VS10+ and the Ulead blue screen background. Everything looks great except my black suit.

Maybe you should have worn a yellow suit.
Have you adjusted the color similarity (using the scale to the right of the eyedropper)?

Yeah, I have to turn it down to about 30 to get the black to be solid, but then background is heavily shaded. When I make it 100 the suit is nearly transparent. I would think the opposite would happen?Black Lab wrote:Maybe you should have worn a yellow suit.![]()

It could just be that your suit is too close in contrast to the background. Try it with the sample clip (V14) that comes with VS. Try to chroma-key out the girl's shirt. Is that result similar to what you are experiencing?
