What DVD MovieFactory version do you use?
If it's DVD MovieFactory 3.0 or earlier, have you tried to install the update packs??

What is the burner you use?
What is the media you use?
Can you play the DVD by using software DVD player in your system?

Sorry, my mistake. Only DVDMF 3.0 or earlier will need to install the update packs.
I would suggest you to use another media brand so you can play the DVD in the stand-alone DVD players.
You might need to check the DVD Player Compatibility List to know what meida could be used in your DVD player.
Hope this helps.
