"menu template" of MovieFactory can be used in VS

Post by videosg »

delete the "menu template" folder (~20M) in VideoStudio 10 Plus, then copy the ""menu template" folder (~140M) from DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus (just released last month), it works.

MovieFactory has more menu templates than those of VideoStudio.

That is nice that one can do this. However since VS10+, the DVD menus can be shared between the later DVD authoring apps (MF5+ and now MF6+). I would suspect that the menus in the next VS version will be usable in the above as well.

Unfortunately there is a bit more to it than meets the eye.
Doing that will affect the DV to DVD Wizard.

If you want to share your menu's etc between programs then please view:
MF5/ VS9 /VS10: Share Menus, Transitions between products
