Unable to rename files in PE8 or PE8.5

Installed PE8 on two identical new 64 bit Vista Home Premium computers, program works fine, can create new folders and delete folders but cannot rename them. Tried PE8.5 same problem. Made sure that the files are shared and not read only. Tried running them under XP even W98 same problem on both machines. Called ts and they did not have a solution as they had never heard of the problem, said to wait for a Vista PE patch. Any suggestions. I have made all of my other programs work but it takes hours and hours. D :?:

I don't use Vista, but I recall reading something in one of the other forums where you have to manually change some permissions with Vista. Since you have Vista you can try looking for such a setting, I'd look for you, however without Vista it's kinda hard to do...
