Windvd8 and HD-DVD

Hello,
I have buy windvd8 and it's not possible to play my hd-dvd with it...
Help me please

Hi Michael,

Open WinDVD and right click on the video window, select Options, there should be a window on the left showing "Add-On Packs". If you see nothing in the "Add-On Packs" window, well, then the HD DVD add-on pack is not released yet.

I'm having a similar problem. I just bought WinDVD 8 Gold and I can't find the add-on that was mentioned. Can anyone give me the link please?

The problem is that I can't even find the addon packs list. When I right-click, there isn't even a OPTIONS option. I tried clicking on SETUP and right below an advertisement for WinDVD there is a button that says ADDON PACKS LIST, but it's greyed out.
ps: I assume when you say to rightclick on the window you mean to just rightclick on the main window that pops up when yo start the program right?

Even if the support is published, I won't be able to check because I can't get to the list. I've tried to right-click and go to options but no such tab apears when I do so (right-click that is). How can I check the avalible add-on packs?

When you start WinDVD 8, do you see a red V icon to be appeared on the Windows tray bar?

Right clicks on it you should be able to see an option named Setup. Select the command, check the Enable Information Service box and clicks on OK, and then restart WinDVD. Now wait a few seconds and right clicks on the main window and then select Solution Center. Check the left part of the window for Add-On Pack List to see if it's been enabled or not. If it's still been grayed out, then there is no add-on packs for your WinDVD.

Thanks, I guess that there are no addons yet. I did what you sugessted and it's still greyed out so I suposse I'll have to 'check back often'.
