We certainly need more information. But I suspect you are in much the same boat as another person I just answered on this forum.

Once you had edited and previewed your project, I am assuming that when you say you 'make a video' that you went to Share > Create Video File > DVD. But can you confirm that please, and also tell us exactly what properties you selected for the new file.

If you are burning a DVD from the video you made and it is converting during the burning process, that is a clear indication that the properties you in fact used were not DVD-compatible. That is why we need to know the exact properties of the video you made.

Read this post: http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=8959.

Maybe that will better explain what kind of information we need to help you.

Ok so we now know that you captured MPEG (MPEG-2, MPEG-1, or MPEG-4)? That you captured from your camera (camcorder or digital still)?

IF you captured from a camcorder to MPEG-2 (DVD compliant) then your Project Properties should match as closely as possible to that of your video file. Maintain that through out your process, including when you are going to burn a disc, or create folders (Video_TS) on your PC. If you captured video is from a digital source (DV) and via Firewire (IEEE-1394, Sony's iLink) then the Field Order should be Lower Field First. If it is from an analog source (for example a video capture card), then the Field Order should be Upper Field First.

Now IF your video came from a Digital Still Camera then the above does not apply.

Please advise what type of camera (camcorder or still), and the Make/Model of the camera, and how you got the video into your PC...

We could use this answer to help further.. To find out what the properties of the video files are: Right-click on the video in the time-line of VS, select Properties. Copy them down and post them back here please.

Also go to File>Project Properties or keyboard shortcut ALT + Enter, copy those down and post them back too.

One more place for properties, which is separate from the Editing Module, would be the Burn Module (Share>Create Disc). Click on the Gear-Looking icon located to the lower left, and post those properties also..

Hi 'Vidoman asked you for:-

(a) Your film clip properties.
Right-click on the video in the time-line of VS, select Properties. Copy them down and post them back here please.
(b) Your VS 'Poject Properties'.
Also go to File>Project Properties or keyboard shortcut ALT + Enter, copy those down and post them back too.
(c) Your DVD Burn Properties.
One more place for properties, which is separate from the Editing Module, would be the Burn Module go to(Share>Create Disc). Click on the Gear-Looking icon located to the lower left, and post those properties also..
I hope you now see there are 3 settings that we need to compare.
Please list them as (a) + (b) + (c).
