I am trying to use VS 10 to archive TV programs, No matter what I do VS takes about 7 hours to make a DVD. I assume this is because it is transcoding my video. Is it possible to work with Mpeg in a format that won't have to be transcoded ever time? I just want to cut out the commercials and dump to DVD.
Using ATI 550 pro capture card on win XP box.
