Audio Getting cut out on final seconds of video

Post by juliosoto »

Noticed this problem last times I tried to render.
VS8
Just reformatted my pc, all fresh installs and patches.
Got by the pulsating issue by rendering project same as project settings instead of DVD, however..
NO matter which way I render, I get a small "silence" interruption right at the end of the audio.. the original mp3 file audio is just fine, but when I render it, the last 4 seconds or so go silent for a small instance, then resumes back to normal.

Ive tried to audio fade out but its not working the way it should normally work..

Ive also tried making it mpeg audio, same deal there..
Are there any other suggestions as to fix this?
Thanks Much
Julio

Sigh.. I got an email from tech support..

Funny, it was EXACTLY the same response I got for the pulsating images problem before..(which I fixed by basically setting the project itself to high quality 100 percent) and when rendering, doing it as same as project settings instead of hitting DVD (this eliminates the need to put the blur on every single pic)..

But nothing new..it was some kind of form that had the SAME EXACT words in it telling me to do this and that (I posted this reply in another topic on this board).. so no news yet on this.. anyone else having probs with audio cutting off and then on again in final seconds of video?

Just a thought -- insert the MP3 file into the timeline of a new, empty project, and save it as a WAV file, and use that in the project that is giving you trouble.

Thanks for the sugggestion.

Actually I have tried that.. The only one that doesn't error out is the Real Media audio..but then it sounds soo...well crappy that it really is not a good alternative, also it really has a hard time importing into the timeline.

I have tried making wavs and other formats as well, changing cofiguration to see if that would make the difference but to no avail.

Thanks for suggesting that, it motivated me to give it more tries than I did before.
