TV Tuner help

Post by Lil Danny »

Hi There,
I tried to open TV Tuner in VS10 capture but it is not working. I have Haupauge WinTV PVR2 USB2. How do I access Video Tuner and Video Composite? I tried everything but not working. Can you inform me how to use? thanks

I don't know if your device works with Video Studio, but unless you are importing video from a MiniDV camera, you are usually better off using the capture software that's made especially for your device. (Probably WinTV2000 in your case.)

Does Ulead accept TV Tuner with VS10 Video Capture? Please Let me know. Sonic MyDVD accept any access but not Ulead. What do you suggest? I like to use Video Capture from TV program and Video Compisite from Videophone and transfer to save file. Sonic MyDVD can but not Ulead. Why Ulead dont' have any access?

Although the WinTV PVR cards could be seen in VideoStudio 9.0 they do not show up in VideoStudio 10.
If you have a WinTV HVR card then the digital channels show up but not the analogue channels.

Your best option is to record using WinTV2000 and then import your recordings into VidoeStudio 10.

You download it off the Hauppauge Website.
http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/support.html

Bear in mind that the WinTV2000 for the HTV Series is different to the
WinTV2000 for the PVR Series. Make sure you choose your correct Type of TV card.

You need to visit the Hauppauge 'Vista support Page'

There is also a Hauppauge user forum
