Hi,
I've imported a VOB file & then converted it to an MPEG4 file. (Share->Export to Mobile Device -> MPEG-4 IPOD (320x240 30fps).
However if the file is small i.e. 250Mb, it converts it fine however if I convert a file of 1Gb in size it stutters the recording repeatedly throughout.
Is there a limit to the converted file size ? or another problem I'm unaware of.
Cheers for any assistance in advance.
Stuttering MPEG-4 Files

The file size itself shouldn't cause a problem, but the bitrate might be too high. I would expect the file to play OK on Windows Media Player, but if the problem only shows-up the iPod, the iPod has very specific requirements.
From the iPod web site:
From the iPod web site:
You are probably better-off saving the file as MPEG-2 with the same properties as the original VOB file. Then, use the iTunes software to make the iPod compatible file.iPod can play the following video formats:
H.264
File formats: .m4v, .mp4, and .mov
Video: Up to 768 kbits/sec, 320 x 240, 30 frames per second (fps), Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3.
Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 kbits/sec, 48 Khz, and stereo audio.
MPEG-4
File formats: .m4v, .mp4, and .mov
Video: Up to 2.5 Mbits/sec, 480 x 480, 30 fps, Simple Profile.
Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 kbits/sec, 48 Khz, stereo audio.
