Importing file names as titles in slide shows
I would like to see the ability to import the file name minus the extension as a title for individual slides.

Allow the user to set chapter points that are excluded from the auto-generated menus. This could easily be implemented by allowing the user to right-click chapter points and (de-)select "Show on Menu" from the context menu. Or better yet, enable the inclusion status of a chapter to be toggled by clicking the chapter point while holding in some control-key combination, and visually indicate the chapter's menu-inclusion status by changing its color.
This is a feature I want really badly, because I like to have additional chapter points within a clip/scene that I can jump to, but don't want to have cluttering the navigation menu.

Add an option:
[X] Do not re-encode ( )Video, ( )Audio, or (X) both
[ ] . . . unless necessary to render a transition effect
that, if selected, will cause the program to display an error that clearly states why the video or audio is unacceptable, and also indicates that the program can re-encode it automatically by deselecting this option in preferences. I encode everything using Avisynth & HCenc, and passionately HATE when something gets insidiously and silently re-encoded behind my back. By definition, "re-encoding" specifically means the application of lossy compression to something that's already compressed with lossy compression. If the user does something that requires re-encoding (due to transitions, etc) and hasn't selected the sub-option, a similar warning would occur that clearly indicates that their preferences setting contradicts that action, and they need to either change the preferences setting or eliminate the transitions.

In MF4 (German Version) there I could make oversized projects (more than fit on a DVD - when I use 'save to harddisc'). That was good, so I could shrink the DVD with another program so that it fits on a DVD (the quality of shrinking with MF6 is bad...). Maybe there could be a 3rd option "make oversized project".

Clean uninstall -reinstall software
Since ther are over 500 posts on these forums that are related to INSTALL - UNISTALL - REINSTALL.
I would like to see a ULEAD/ COREL provide CLEANUP program to do a clean uninstall so we can start afresh. To be precise is to eleiminate the manual deletion of registry entries, hidden files etc. I do not like having to use regedit.
KODAK has one that I had to use and it got my KODAK software working properly.
Thank you

Most of my work is producing wedding videos. I use a customized smartscene menu which nearly always has the same chapter titles and background from one project to another. What I would like to see in a future MF or update is an option to save titles and backgrounds as favourite templates. The existing favourite folder does not seem to save much at all, and the option to save is greyed out most of the time. I would like to know other opinions on this subject.
Add Subtitle text to slides
Looking at the demo, I was trying to add a subtitle to the first slide of each slideshow so that I could enter a quick date or caption describing wht this slideshow is for. The only option I saw was to add the filename and/or the picture/camera information.

Wishes for a real users guide
Since ULead provides in many areas of the users guide, not much more than what amounts to a marketing description ('you can do this and that, w/o saying how), since even the forum isn't posting stickys to 'explain the unexplained', it certainly seems about time ULead coughs up real user guides.

General Information
A couple more:
Ability to use "Join/Split" and "Edit Room" functionality with AVCHD files.
and
The ability to migrate/import one project type into another. So if I have a DVD project that I want to upgrade to a Blu-Ray project etc, I can do so redoing most of my work (with the understanding that some project type specific stuff such as menu etc may need to be redone.)
