Convert image for Web Page

I am trying to get up a web site to share baby photos. Using a web hosting site. Anyways, my images are too big, and I would like to decrease the size of my images using photoimpact 11, perhaps even doing a batch convert.

Can't you just save the images as gif format?

when you say decrease the size, do you mean to decrease the dimension of the photo or the file size of the photo? when you want to decrease the dimension of your photos, you could use photoimpact's resize feature. you also mentioned that you also wish to do a batch convert, this could also be done with photoimpact.

simply open the photos you wish to resize, click "window" from the menu bar then choose "Batch manager" or just press "Shift"+"F6". on the batch manager window, you will see all of the opened images as thumbnails. From the list of the opened images, select the ones you want the operation applied to. select the command you wish to run from the category and options list, in your case, "edit" under category list then "resize" under operation. click OK. the resize window would now appear, allowing you to change the values to your desired image dimension.
