what I need is software that allows me to do the same thing as Video Editor and VS 10+ does, output to my TV via cam camcorder. Example, I have Media Studio Pro AND Video Studio 10 + setup were all my play back is sent back through the camcoder, which is in turn plugged into my anitiquated, but, usefull, VHS editing system, and that into a TV.
I'm looking for software that would play a rendered copy of what I make, without using MSP 8 or VS10, or Movie Maker, and the list could go on.., to the TV..
In a simpler fashion, can I do a render, and output via whatever my least path of resistence to the tv, or should I just burn a dvd, (prob a rewrite dvd)
Need Some Direction...

Three options.
1. Get a Video card that includes TV Out.
2. Get one of those new flat screen TV sets. Mine has a VGA connection.
I was recently decorating my living room so I connected my 32" widescreen TV to the computer and used it as a TV and also as my computer monitor.
3.You can also purchase a wireless device to broadcast your computer output to TV screens throughout your house.
A few example devices
I also purchased a 15 metre long VGA cable so that I can now sit in my living room and 'watch' things being played on my computer.
