It seems that your current.xum file is corrupted. Go to ..\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead PhotoImpact\12.0\profiles and delete the file current.xum.

Restart PI and see what happens.

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem (but my message is in English). I tryed reinstall, then a "clean" reinstallation, and the message is always here.
When I delete the current.xum archive, Photoimpact creates another, but is unable to start and displays the warning message.
I execute as an Administrator, stopping the antivirus and the firewall. Nothing to do.
I'm very unsatisfied with Photoimpact 12. Is there another way to solve this???

Possibly you have a corrupted installation file.
If you have only recently downloaded PhotoImpact then try downloading a new copy of it.

Is not a download, but a 2-CD full version!

Check the Windows Event Log for error messages:

START | RUN dialog box
%SystemRoot%\system32\eventvwr.msc /s
and press enter.
Now check the following two folders
Application
System

You will find a red circle with a white cross inside. Double click to open it and there you will find a link
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
This link also contains some hidden code appertaining to your error.
Double click and you will then be given more detailed information and possible cures.
