Only C: drive can store temporary files?

Post by Gazso »

Hi
I ran into a problem when using BD Writer in Ulead Movie Facotry 6 plus. During the 'convert files' process my C drive gets full.

I have only 6 GBytes free space on my C drive. I use my H drive to store HD video clips as it has 400Gbytes.

Is it possible to configure DB Writer to use my NTFS formatted H drive instead of the default C?
Thanks in advance.

Open BD disc Recorder and at the bottom left is an icon.
Click that to bring up the preferences dialogue box and alter the working folder to one of your choice.

MovieFactory 5 / 5+ also use your windows temp folder even when re-assigning the working folder to a large drive. Not sure how much MF uses the windows temp folder though.
MF6 may also do this, the only way to tell is do what Steve suggested, you should assign the working folder to a large ntfs drive anyway.
