DVD MF 5+, can't import NERO recoded files

Believe me Steve, I tried. Also HT's approach. As I said, my heart is not set on this and I have told my friend already that I can't do it. There must be something peculiar with this particular file. What though, remains a mystery.

I have imported the DVD straight into VS10+, copied the DVD files to my HDD and imported from there, recoded using NERO and DVD Shrink. The system hangs for very long times just to come alive again. As soon as I click on one button, regardless which one, the system hangs again for long periods of time. Eventually it will crash with the well know, dreaded Win error, Win has encountered a problem and needs to close...

This happens with DVD MF5+, VS10+ as well as MSP8
