Demo version does not work correctly

I installed the demo version from movie factory 5, downloaded from Magix.
All inputs are extremly slow.
Menuinputs does not work (Video - lengt / Format)
Capuring the video does very often stop

At past I worked with Version 4 - absolutly no problems

Magix is a german company making a NLE very similar in functions and pricing to Video Studio.

(Its anti-shake filter works remarkably well for interlaced videos.)

SUBJECT: Please use a subject that describes your exact problem instead of making us guess what's in your post.

Nature of the problem : Very slow, some menues does not work

Properties of your source files (format, file size, where did you get it?)
Demoprog, download from www.ulead.de

What devices are involved and their mode of connection?
DV-Kamera Panasonic NV-DS77 / Firewire

Project Settings : after program start

Output format (file, DVD, VCD, SVCD) : DVD

PAL or NTSC : PAL

Error Codes (if any) : No

Inputs need very long time
Some menue's (Video - lenght / Format: ... / ...) does not work
During the read of the video - it stops some time

Movie Maker 4 and demo from Video Studio 10 does work correct

There's something wrong.
I would un-install it and also move/delete/rename the common files directory IF MF trial leaves those files behind after un-installation.
Ulead common files directory:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems
I woulld re-install VS10 so it recreates the common files directory and 's working with it's correct common files.

MF5 Trial obviously isn't working correctly on your machine, I would remove it.

Also after a new installation MF5 does not work correctly. I stop the evaluation fron ulead.

I think it is easier to stop the evaluation of the Ulead product and by a other software.
