Internal Error in DVD Engine

I have followed the instructions suggested by the earlier posts related to the ...

"Internal Error in the DVD engine".

I have performed two 'clean installs'.
I have also tried only recording to a disk;
also "Create DVD Folder"
and "Create disc image file";
all with the same error message.

There is no indication within this forum that anyone who suffers this ¡¥Error Message¡¦ has been able to solve the problem, so I assume everyone has given up trying to make this software work and moved on to some other process.

I hope my assumption is wrong.

PLEASE SOMEONE ¡V TELL ME THERE IS A FIX.
Of all the software I have tried to date, I like the features of Ulead, but if I cannot make a DVD the software is useless.

I have not found any indication that there is anyone else on this forum having had your particular problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong. What makes you think the problem is with this particular software? Can you burn DVD's with another software? Have you loaded the latest drivers for the DVD burner?

Yes I am able to burn DVDs directly with XP or Nero.

I have followed the forum on this topic and there were several others with the same 'error message' along with no indication they were able to correct the error. I assume they were able but did not say so. but on the other hand there is no indication that anything worked.

So far nothing has worked for me - do you or anyone have a suggestion.

By the way, search on "interal error"and"DVD engine"

This is five or so calls for help.

Thank you, I will follow your suggestions.

It will take some time but I will perform every step.

Are you suggesting you or some one you know corrected the -

"Internal Error in the DVD engine "

headache, by taking the steps you suggest.

I will put them in place and let you know what happens.

It's sad but how would we know?

People come here for help, get suggestions and never return. Have these suggestions helped? Did they just give up? Who knows. It happens too rarely that a user comes back and says: "Thanks guys, that did it, it's fixed"

if one of us had the problem you describe in the past, we would have been able to help in a jiffy. Aparently noone did though. So we keep guessing until we get confirmation for or against our remedy.

Can anyone solve this problems for me please? I have just burned 4 DVDs successfully now on the 5th I get this message. I am burning straight to disc from VSP file.

I encounted this THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE INTERNAL DVD ENGINE
message in the course of burning a blueray disc. It seems one of the
files I added to the project was somehow causing it. Until I removed that
one file, the error persisted.
