help Beginner!

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to make a video shorter and save it and find where it was saved.
I used the scissors button to cut it and deleted the half I did not want.
Then I did not know how to produce just the clipped portion and where to find it. I tried save as but that saves a project. I tried saved trimmed video but I could not find the trimmed video. I just want a 30 second clip out of a 20 minute video. Any help would be appreciated!

Share -> Create Video File -> Choose a template.

Also, look in VS File > Preferences > General and see where the working folder is located. And that is where you will find the file created when you used 'Saved Trimmed Video'...

Also:- after using ¡¥Saved Trimmed Video¡¦ a thumbnail is placed in the library, Right click and select properties, The File name indicates the saved location.
Click with your mouse and use keyboard arrow keys to view the full name.

You can use Right Click-Preferences to locate all inserted clips.
