MediaStudio Pro 6 - No support for AVCHD m2ts files

Post by rlassiter »

I was excited to read Ulead's MediaStudio Pro6 Plus now supports editing of AVCHD that I make in my Sony SR1. Today I bought and downloaded right away. I am not too happy now because the software says the m2ts files are an unrecognized format. Can anyone shed light on this? And why does Ulead put in a disclaimer with the AVCHD comment?

Where did you find that? MediaStudio Pro 6 is very old and was the beginning time with editing DVD films.

MediaStudio Pro 8 is the newest version and does also not support AVCHD, only MPEG-2 in HD resolution.
Why should it the Version 6?

Geez, I was confused with the names. It Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6. Sorry. If the Moderator could please close this thread I will post to the correct forum. Better still, nuke the thread so I don't confuse others.
