Deblocking filter for VS

Post by rjacek1 »

Is there a deblocking filter available for VideoStudio 10? There are afew
out there but I don't know if they can be used with VS. I wonder why Ulead never made one for VS? it would be a very useful tool.

I don't think there is one for VS10, though I know of at least one which works with VirtualDub.

And yes, it might be a useful tool. But to the extent that it is mainly used in relation to mpeg-4s (and often with the H-264 codec), and given the fact that VS10 does not seem to interact well with certain kinds of mpeg-4, most especially H-264, I am not sure how useful such a tool might be until Corel/InterVideo/Ulead fix up the basic problem...

Actually, there IS a deblocking filter in VS10, as well as a denoise filter.

Are you talking about VS X10 (which you have) or the positively ancient version 10 (without the X before it)? I ask since the thread you attached your comment to is 10 years old...
