problem of synchronisation between the image and the sound

I've loaded a film from my video camera on my computer, but when I use the programme the sound and the image are not syncronised...
an anyone help me?

We need more information: What version are you using (for instance, version 8 was notorious for this)? Are you following the Recommended Procedure? What are your clip and project properties?

This problem is more common with MPEG files, than with DV files. Is your camera a mini-DV camera, a hard-disk camera (MPEG), or a DVD-recorder camera (MPEG)?

Also, you can search the forum for "sync", and you will find lots of discussion and suggestions...
