I've loaded a film from my video camera on my computer, but when I use the programme the sound and the image are not syncronised...

We need more information: What version are you using (for instance, version 8 was notorious for this)? Are you following the Recommended Procedure? What are your clip and project properties?

This problem is more common with MPEG files, than with DV files. Is your camera a mini-DV camera, a hard-disk camera (MPEG), or a DVD-recorder camera (MPEG)?
