Editing half a video

Post by vroman »

Is there a way to edit the top half of a video? I have a video that has an old phone number that appears on the bottom half of the video. Is there a way to either get rid of it or put something on top of it? Thank you for your time.

Several. Here's just two of the simpler methods.

1. Crop Filter
2. Place something on the overlay track over it.

You can also use:
- 16:9 image mate (at least if you have MSP 8)
- use a moving path (zoom function)

In general it will result in a lower quality video output.

I usually use a Moving Path to enlarge the video to about 1.25 it's original size then position the Moving Path to hide the logo/date off the end of the screen. but if you need the footage to be the same size then covering the logo might be the only option
