Can Video studio 10 flip clips horizontaly?

Post by 5LEEPER »

I know it can reverse clips, rotate them at 90 degree increments etc.

Jsut wondering if it can flip clips horizontally, ie if i have a clip of a person entering from the left of the screen, can i use video editing to make them enter from the right?

Thankyou

If it's the same as VS10+ you can Clk on the drop down arrow in Pan +Zoom second line down (clip pans from right to left) select it - clk customise- preview window opens- in the centre just below preview screens are five buttons the centre one reverses the flow of the clip.

No VS can not do this... HOWEVER if you have Burger's FX Bench it has a filter that allows you to Flip Horizontally and vertically.

Thats great, thankyou. I can flip horizontaly now.

only 1 small issue, those extra effect really chew up your computers memory, mine is struggling with them in the video file.

Either way, it works great. cheers

Yes I agree :), while creating that short little 15-20 sec example, I was still running my main profile with the internet still up, and all the background apps. While rendering (especially the clip with the flip filter), my PC screeched to a snail's pace.

This is true for almost all effects in FX bench.
How was that thing about a gift horse and teeth?
This my understanding of it.
I have been proven wrong on several occasions in my life. It's not going to improve.
