Creating a Google style animation from ordinary maps.

Here is an example I used when I created a DVD of a friends Holiday to Rhodes.

Are you using firefox Version 2
http://mozilla-firefox-free-download.com/ Alternatively try Internet Explorer.

Link seems to work wherever I have tried it, both my computers, also on various machines at work.

Heinz,
Are you able to access YouTube directly by typing the URL in the address bar? How about this...Do you have JavaScript Disabled? That may be the problem, since sites like YouTube, Google Video, all use an abundance of JS to make that stuff happen.

Heinz, you could also try "Refresh" or reload or whatever FF calls it...

Neat stuff, Steve!

Very nice. It would also be good to use a car and sort of drive along a map with roads on it.

I was thinking the same think an actually thought about using C3D to do the whole sequence but when I imported the map as a texture, it lost its resolution and got pixelated when I zoomed in on a HUGE object with the map as a texture.
