I'm having some problems with color.

1
I have a small video I would like to add like a color flash/burst. But it's in the middle of the video and i can only add/strech at start or at the end of it. How do i go about adding the flash or do I need to slipt the video file?

I have 2 video clips dropped in the time line next to each other. I would like to strech the color across both of them but cannot it will only go over one or the other. How can this be done?

I'm I doing this correct? I click the color box, change the black box white and keep the white solid then add over the video to create the flash?

Kinda bassic question guys I know but any help would really help me.

1. Split
2. and 3. Add your colour clip to the next highest track and overlap over the clips.

Sorry for the late responce on this but I still haven't gotten around to overlap over the clips and if this works I need to figure out something before I try it but im sure your right.
