I've switched from Memorex DVD-R to Teon DVD-R media and am using a Sony DRU-500 drive. The first disc I tried to burn with VS-6 gave me the message: FAILED IN PERFORMING POWER CALIBRATION.
Could this be because of the change in media? Is there a list published somewhere of what media will work with Video Studio?

You should check compatible media for the burner, not for VideoStudio. You can get a compatibility list and comments in http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters .
