Quality on Final DVD isn't good - blocky

Post by dshenoy »

It's been a while since I last created a project with Ulead 9 Video Studio. I captured my video from my camera and then created a project. i then created a mp file and then burned my dvd from that file. I was horrified to see that the quality was poor - like a low resolution streaming file! I've done this before with great results - i.e. like normal TV or picture DVD quality but I am confused with all the settings that are needed. Is there an idiots guide or a simple guide that i can use to make sure that I am creating the movie at a high quality?

Really need help here :(
