Scrolling credits with finish at centre of screen and held

Post by jparnold »

I am trying to create scrolling credits so that the last line remains near the centre of the screen for a short period of time.
I can get the credits to scroll ok and finish at the centre of screen but only for a split second.
Is there a way of ensuring the last line on credits remains at the centre of screen for say 2 seconds.

just make a single title of the last line only and insert it after your scrolling title and set it to 2 seconds.

Hi John

After creating the first title (fly and finish in middle)
Drag it to the library to make a copy, the text is in the same position.

Drag this title to the timeline adjacent to the first
Change the Animation to Fade Out.

Another option is, Graphics.. Use your favororite graphics editing software to make the titles. For scrolling graphics, use the same width as your output, but, maybe double or triple the length. Pan and zoom the graphic file. Why not use more than one file? pan and zoom each one and add video filters, like motion blur.. I use this with great results.. Usually, 3 copies of the same graphic, incoming, motion blur to the spot were I want it, scroll it, motion blur it out of scene.. Treat it as still pictures..
