Hi guys
With the threads on the future of MSP eight and Vista growing like topsy, I'm begining to wonder if I should upgrade my VideoStudio version eight, to version 10 while there's also a deal with Photoimpact included.
When I moved from VS eight to MSP7 a few years ago, there were quite a few differences between the products and MSP seemed very much at the "prosumer" level. However with VS 9 & 10 I wonder how close VS is to MSP now.
Unfortunately I found there is no comparison chart between VS and MSP and wonder what are the key differences and what are views of those that work with both?

Upgrade Upgrade Upgrade, just don't get vista yet.. I have all the latest and greatest from Ulead and love everyone of them. ( I am taking MSP out to dinner tonight).. ahem, j/k
On a serious note, I'd wait on Vista, as I normally upgrade my OS one year before the last OS support is scheduled to be canceled.
For instance, I held onto windows 98 right up till they cancelled support, then skipped to XP. Got SP2 of XP, and they just released Vista. I can safely be assured of a somewhat steady OS till they abandon support to XP, and will upgrade to Vista just about a year before they annonce they will stop supporting XP. (i'll need new hardware by then anyways). The hardware I have, I can depreciate over then next couple of years, write it off, and, by then, all the bugs will be identified in Vista. (read, identified).
But, yes, my reccomendation, is upgrade Ulead stuff, it is sweet. I have PI12, MSP 8, Vid Lab/CG Infinity, CPS, VS10+, and use everyone of them with GREAT results.
