Vista - Temporary change of colour scheme

Post by Bish »

When accessing Video Studio 10 and before the interface appears I am getting a dialoge box telling me that Ulead has performed an action that requires Windows to temporarily change the colour scheme to Vista basic. This it does, then automatically changes back to Vista Aero when I close Ulead. No harm seems to have been done, but is there any way of making Vista and VS10 compatible in this regard? Thanks in anticipation,
John (Reed)

Hi,

This is by design, a lot of multimedia programs act like this under Vista. See also http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... highlight=

I just instlled VS 10 on Vista, and am seeing the same thing. Quite annoying, as it affects all application windows. No other app I run does this.

I'm not sure I understand the logic of "it's by design." Is it really necessary?
