How do I avoid the long rendering times in DVD Workshop, I capture my video using a software called cyberlink as MPEG 2 and whenever I enter it into DVD Workshop it takes forever to re-render my work. Can anyone please help me develop a better method for finishing my disk.

You can check the tutorial wrote by Jerry Jones to know how to avoid the re-encoding in DVD WorkShop.

Hope this helps.

Why not capture directly in DVDWS?

As a general rule, if your MPEG is DVD-compliant and you have the correct project settings, it defaults into a mode that does not re-render it. If it does re-render, it is because the MPEG file is not DVD complant, it does not correspond to your project settings or you checked the box which forces re-rendering.

Note that re-rendering MPEG files may cause a very significant quality loss.
