Hi Kevin,
Give the "Normalize Audio" a try (using one of your shortest DV .avi's). Just as a "test" to see if it makes any difference. Don't use Motion Menus, or menu transitions -- that will make the project rendering go a little faster -- burn to DVD Folders on your hard drive, then use WinDVD and/or PowerDVD to see if you get the audio on the dvd...
Also, have you tried the Create Disc module in VS10?
Regards,
George

Will do -- on all suggestions. Obviously I'd like to move this project from v3 to v5+. My test DVD in version 3 is burning the disk "now". In a few minutes at least I'll know if I am able to have a working DVD of these files.GeorgeW wrote:Hi Kevin,

Is this possibly the small bug you have come across in MF5? On occassions?
Others have posted they have had to toggle the normalize audio or at least go into the enhanced menu.
I didn't take notice whether the poster was running SP2 or not. MF5 losses some functions if only running SP1.
I think it might be related to the issue you helped me test -- but I am not 100% certain. That's why I was asking if the file was DV Type-1 or DV Type-2. The issue seems to happen when it is a DV Type-2 file, and using the "Normalize" option seems to get the audio working again...
