Video Studio Update Pack for TBYB

Post by JoReneA »

I downloaded the TBYB update pack for Video Studio and it would not install, saying it couldn't find an installed copy of Video Studio. I had just installed Video Studio Trial (and run it once+rebooted). Since this is specifically for the trial version, I can't understand why it won't run.

I already posted how disappointed I am that the Vista update won't install on the TBYB version. No way to test whether it works or not!

It is going to be a LONG time before it is worthwhile installing Vista, as way too few companies are ready for it.

Did you install to another drive or partition other then C: ? I'm not sure about this, but the update patch could be hardcoded to look in the common root drive for most systems (C:) and not anywhere else.

I will not touch anything VISTA until I'm forced by a software I want to run which will not work under XP. Not a day sooner.
