Export An Entire Project!

Post by n3vpc »

When you are inside the program, and at a project, is here a way to burn that entire project as "itself" or "AS IS"
to save it? As in exporting?

I don't mean burn the project as a "finished presentation" I mean to burn the project, as is, with the associate files, wav, mpeg within the program.

In other words; After you are done with it, when you open the disk/DVD to view its contents, you don't see the presentation as finished, you see it just as you would if you took a screen shot of it. You can "Import" it back into the program and begin work or change. The disk would open to the working or copied program on it. This could be copied back over to your hardrive and corrections or additions made to it and then, saved back to disk.

Is this possible to do with VS10 plus?

I don't quite understand your question. But, I don't think so. You could do it "manually", but if you delete the files from the hard drive, you would have to replace them in the exact same folders in order to recover. And sometimes, the original files are not going to fit onto a single DVD before being edited and compressed.

When you save your project, you are just saving the "instructions" that tell Video Studio how to assemble your video. So, you can "save as" and get many different projects from the same set of original files. (This takes very little disc space.)

If you want to create a video (with the current set of instructions), go to the Share tab and create/save an audio/video file. ...I think that's not what you want to do.
