Windows Error Message when its time to burn!
I'm trying to burn a project and everytime I hit burn a message comes up; "Ulead DVD Workshop has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then it gives you the option to send an error report or not. I have burned this project before but it was before I reformatted my hard drive. Any ideas
First, you need to figure-out if it's really a burning problem or a conversion problem.
So, un-check the box that says Create Disc and check the box that says Create DVD Folders. If that's successful, you should be able to play the DVD folders with your DVD-player software. If you just have a burning problem, there may be a conflict with other burning software on your system.
If that fails, you have a conversion problem. Tell us the format of your source videos, and where they came from.
Did you load any new burning software (i.e. Nero or Roxio) when you re-formatted?
Did you install the Workshop updates after you re-installed it?

I figured something else out
There must be something wrong with that project file because I opened up a different project and it worked just fine. Its wierd though because the project that doesn't work gives me that message as soon as I click the burn button. I don't even get the the screen where I can uncheck burn to disc and then check "create dvd folders." I'll just have to try making that project over again. Thanks!
