Hi,
I installed VS7 SE VCD that came with a digital camcorder I received. I shot about a minute of video that has these properties:
24 bits 640x480
ISO MPEG-4 Video V1
0% compression ratio
30 fps
.ASF format
I load this ASF file into VS7 and set the trim markers for the start and end of the video, cropping it down to about 6 seconds that I want to save.
When I click Save Trimmed Video, it renders it and then creates a new video. If I play that video, it has the 6 seconds I selected, but it plays VERY choppy -- as if it were about 1 frame per second.
I checked the properties on the newly rendered video and it says its 30 fps. The only thing that's different is that it shows Windows Media Video 9 as the Compression type.
Why does it lose or skip so many frames when it renders the new trimmed video?
Thanks in advance!
Dropped frames when rendering using VS7 SE VCD
