Or the Roxio equivalent packet writing software; or indeed other such drag,drop and burn software.
I recently had problems when burning a DVD on a friend's computer (I was showing them how to do it!
) Since I had installed Nero on their computer and knew that it did not contain InCD, and they also did not have the Roxio suite, I looked and found that the store which had sold the computer to them had installed a program with a silly name I now can't quite recall -- it was like 'Keith's Drag'n Drop. I removed it, and the burner drive then had no difficulty burning the DVD.

Sorry I didn't see your reply Ken - you were on page 2 !!!
I guess it could be installed under a different name, or maybe someother task is taking over control of the dvd. Trouble is I've got so mush crap on my system, thanks to my two teenage sons, that anything could be happening. I guess I need a complete clean up / re-install windows. When I got two days spare, I might do that.
