Scroll Animation In Titles

Post by n3vpc »

When working with these how can you view or edit the entire
scroll of message within the program. Is there a key set for
“selecting all”?

I can’t total view of my entire message from inside of the program.

Can anyone help?

Are you talking about inside the text box? You can either set your font size small enough that it all fits, then when you're done just set the font to the desired size, or you can just move the box so you can see the lines that don't fit on the screen.

Hi Jeff,

Yes that's part of the problem. I can't see the whole message. I guess even select all would not help, even if there was a key for it.

I'll have to try working with the smaller font and see if I can change-up what I want to do.

Thanks for the reply, good talking to you again!

The "Select All" text option is the same as in any other programme - Click to put the cursor in front of the first letter of your text - hold down the 'Shift' key as you click just after the last letter of your text - all the text will be selected.

As for seeing all the text at one time for editing - I use one of two alternatives - one is to temporarily decrease the text size so that it is very small to do your typing - if I change to a 15 point text I can get 24 lines in the preview window without having to push it up at all. If you eyes are better than mine you could use an even smaller text and get more lines. When you have finished typing highlight all the text and change the font size to whatever it is you wish to use.

The second option is that having highlighted the text in the preview screen use "Ctrl+C" to copy the text then paste it into 'Word' or your preference of text editor - when you have finished typing/correcting copy and paste it back into the UVS preview window (using "Ctrl+V" to paste)

Thanks Brian,

You’re right on the money as always!

Reducing the font was a big help also.

Thanks for being there! I owe you a lot.

Thanks also for responding to all my others questions here, your input as been invaluable to me as well as your time!
