Is it any way to get russian alphabets into textarea. In earlier versions it was possible by copy/paste technic, but not any more. Its too hard to handle them in other brograms and put them as pictures to the timeline.

This has been a bone of contention with Ulead for many years. Cyrillic characters are particularly hazardous, for some reason, more so than, e.g., Greek. The best way, in my experience, is to a) ensure your WIN is set up for Russian keyboard and language b) type everything directly into the titler. However, never try to change any of the text attributes, otherwise it will convert to gobbledegook.
Personally, I prefer to type Russian texts in Corel Draw!, using the paragraph mode and export to tga with a transparent background. It works a treat and scrolling etc. is easy using a moving path.

Please have a look at the picture. I use UMS8 and there are no any problems with cyrillic in all my projects. I copy text even from notepad. BUT I've set Russian as default language in XP Regional Settings. Probably it helps.
