Hi all,
I would like to capture scenes from a mini DV and add date & time on each sequence. Is that possible with VS 10+ ?
I tried with Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 but without success.
Thanks for your help.
Philippe.

Welcome to the forums,
To just have the Date/Time stamp appear on a video clip, go to Preferences (press F6) then at the bottom on the General Tab, check the box beside Display DV timecode on Preview Window. Doing this will display the code while playing/previewing in Clip Mode, not Project mode. This is not burned into the video, so is not visible in your final product.
However there is a free utility that can burn this date/time code into your video. DV Date(<--Link) it is useful to display the date and time of capture on the screen, like the analog camcorders used to do. This function is highly personalizable, with nice features (change font, position, schedule to display ay each scene change, display the datecode on two lines, adjust the alignment...

Sounds good. I'll try this tool on the sequences I get using Adobe PE 3.0.
What is the best Adobe PE 3.0 or VS 10+ ?
Philippe.
