Contour Shuttle

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has tried this controller ? If so, does it make thing easier/faster in MSP 8 ?

Yes - very much so.

As far as I'm concerned, one of the most important chances made in MSP8 was the addition of the "U" key to cut all clips at the preview bar position. Until this was added, it meant that editing couldn't "flow" because you had to ping pong between mouse and jog shuttle. Now, I just whip through chopping up the clips with the shuttle, and then delete all the ones I don't want using mouse/keyboard.

I'm sure that if I had time to configure my setup more, my editing would be even smoother, but even now - I wouldn't be without it.

Thanks for the response Gorf. I saw it some time ago and thought it could make things a little easier/faster, but I've never really seen it mentioned by any MSP users.
