I have been getting snide responses from NovaDevelopment Tech Support(they don't have Vista, so they're not doing anything), so I hope you can help me out here
I recently loaded Vista and I've only found one problem (major annoyance) with PI10. Whenever I try to align an object, I get a pop-up that says Insufficient Memory with the code [800:166:554].
My system is a Gateway Pent dual proc 3Ghz with 2gb of memory.
I can manually align the object, but it's time comsuming when you have to tools.
PI 10 is not geared to work with Vista and never will be. The latest version PI 12 is available with Vista support but does not come with it as a standard. There is a patch available.
NOVA products, even though these are Ulead programs, are supported by NOVA, not by Ulead.
For NOVA versions, yes please contact NOVA for further support.
However, you can try the following steps to see if it helps.
Start PI, then select File->Preference->General->System and then assign some additional folders for Virtual Memory. (Make sure those folders have some space for storing the virtual memory files, say 1GB or more).
In the same setting tab, don't set any limits to the hard disk and memory, also switch the hard disk setting to a larger hard disk (if you have other hard disks installed).
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help guys but NOGO. I think NOVA(Spanish for No Go) has never heard of Customer Service, because they have lost a customer. Do you think the Nova version would be eligible for the Ulead PI12 upgrade???
I'm currently waiting on delivery of a new HP computer with Vista Premium already installed. I use PI10 right now with XP. I'm considering installing my current hd as a slave drive in the new computer and leaving XP on it so I can run all the programs that don't play nice with Vista. Will this be possible? Can I run two different OS on the same computer? Will Vista play nice with XP?
If you want to use your existing XP hard drive then you need to do a few things first.
I recommend that you get Vista running correctly BEFORE you install the XP Hard drive.
Then - remove the power lead to the Vista Hard drive and install the XP hard drive. It will nag you for the various drivers because your computer has changed and will have several differences such as sound card, video card etc. You may have to insert your XP setup disc and run a 'repair' installation to get the hard drive running on the new computer.
Once you have XP running correctly you can reconnect the power lead to your Vista hard drive.
You now have a multi boot system. To activate which system you wish to use means that you have to enter the system BIOS. When you start the computer a message pops up press (named key) to enter setup.
Doing this brings up the system BIOS and here you select the boot sequence.
Thank you very much for your advice. I'll definitely do as you suggest. I'm finding that too many of my programs won't yet work on Vista and I don't want to be without them until they get their act together and come up with a patch to make them Vista compatible.
