One of my Transitions is missing.

Post by roy wood »

Hi all, in VS10+ according to the manual (p.81) in 'Effects' I'm supposed to have an 'Album Transition' which I don't have.
Would someone be kind enough to check their version to see if they have it or not please and also count up the total number of transitions so that I can check if anything else is missing. Thanks Roy.

Oddly enough, I did, but I am not totally sure how or why!

Previously, as you know, I had been most put out -- as were others -- by the total absence of the album effects in particular, but also most of the Mask and Flashback transitions as well. I tried just about everything, including several reinstalls accompanied by a full registry clean. Nothing worked and I simply chose to ignore it since everything else worked just fine and I had a totally workable alternatives in the album transitions in CanopusFX.

However, a couple of months ago, I found it was time for a complete reformat of my main hard drive. VS10+ was one of the first programs I reinstalled after XP, and what do ya know? When I opened it and idly checked, there were the Album, Mask and Flashback transitions in all their glory! And what is more, they work!!

A bit drastic as a solution, but it sure worked for me! Must have been some minor conflict somewhere, though I simply can't think where...

Ok thanks guys I get the message Ulead is like a 'Lucky Dip'.
Sometimes You get something sometimes you don't.

Also thanks for your Tutorial Steve Only yesterday I had 'Harvested' from old programmes a whole load of Video-Audio-image clips which I'd put into folders on my Hdd until I worked out how to get them into VS10
NOW I KNOW. Cheers Roy.
