Spelling and Corrections In Titles?

Post by n3vpc »

Working with Title pages I have heard it mentioned that
you can create your title or text with MS Word and then copy
and paste over to VS10 under titles tab. I cannot seem to make
this function work. Also can this be reversed? In timeline going to the title
block, can you some-how copy the title and paste back over to Word
for spelling corrections?

Any help with this one?

From Word, copy your text. In VS, click on the Title tab and double-click in the preview window. Now press CTRL+V to paste.

To copy from VS, press CTRL+C.

(From the VS Help File do a search for Shortcut for all the keyboard shortcuts.)

Thank you very much for your prompt return!

Works Great!

I am also from PA! Is there such a thing as "select all"

Is there such a thing as "select all"
For...?

To select a range of clips you can use standard Windows methods of Shift+click or Ctrl+click, or are you referring to something else?

What part of PA are your from? The warm part or the cold part?

Hi Jeff,

About 35 miles North/Northest of Reading.

I was talking about a 1 click while your working with the text part of
the title.

I found out this morning that in VS10, that tip you just gave will only work if you insure that "Ripple Editing" if off. If it is on, when you try to go up to the Clips Tab all will be greyed out.

If you are working with one title you can, of course, click and drag to select all of the text. If you a talking about more than one title I'm not sure that you can copy more than one at a time.

That's a good point. Sometimes when Ripple Editing is enabled other functions are disabled.

Not that far away - in Bloomsburg Fair, Yuengling, and Knoebels country. I'm about 16 miles southeast of Reading.
