multiple frames or pictures

Post by n3vpc »

Working in the “Story Board” view, with a very large slide show presentation
I just notice that there are a large number of slides/clips that I want to change
their view duration.

Is there a way to select multiple frames or pictures within the storyboard to do this? Then go up to the duration setting and change them all at once?

Hi

Using the mouse select the clips in the timeline, use Shift + Click.
The clips must be adjacent,

Go to Clip- Change color/image duration.

The default duration is set in File Preferences-edit tab

Hi n3vpc,

Yes, there is a way of doing this. Click on the first clip in the series you want to change. Then while holding down the "Shift" key, click on the last clip in the series you want to change. All clips should now be highlighted in blue. Go up to the Menu Bar at the top left corner of the program and click on Clip. In the drop down window, click on Change Image/Color Duration. Type in the new duration, click OK, and your done. :D

Sorry,

This does not work in VS10. I did get the blue part but when I went to go to clips on the left top the entire selections were all grayed out?

Thanks for trying, maybe I missed something?

THIS DOES WORK BUT.........................

MAKE SURE THAT RIPPLE EDITING IS TURNED OFF WHEN YOU DO IT OR
THE CLIPS TAB CHOICES WILL REMAIN GRAYED OUT!

Thanks to All who respond to me and for being there.

It's nice to know your not alone with this program!

Bill,

That's a great point of clarification you provide regarding turning off Ripple Editing when performing this function. I forgot to mention that little fact in my post. :D
