Text links on Menu instead of picture/videos

Post by thaijoe »

VidsoStudio 9
Can anyone tell me if I am able to create a main menu page with just text links instead of a text link and picture/video? I plan to have text and picture/video on the submenu.

Thanks,

Yes, on the GALLERY tab, use the pulldown menu to select TEXT menus, and change accordingly. Then under your PREVIEW window, the Currently Displayed Menu has a pulldown menu for your "Main Menus" and your "Title Menus" -- select the Title, and then modify the menu type for your title chapter menus.

George -- that's for VS10. The OP was asking about VS9 -- and my version of it at least does not have text menus (or even a Menu drop down called Gallery for that matter. The set-up is a little different.)

so the bottom line is thaijoe - you can't in version 9 unless you know how to create menu templates in Photo Impact - your only solution is an upgrade to VideoStudio 10.

ooops, totally missed VS9 when I read that

Sorry thaijoe, my instructions are for VS10+ (not VideoStudio 9). And as mentioned, VS9 does not appear to have the same functionality for TEXT menus as VS10...
